Did Harry Potter have a job or occupation?

To be honest, I didn't read all the books. I'm working on it...but while I was reading, a though popped up in my head...I'm assuming he never had a job or occupation..so how would he buy things. I know his parents left him money, but was that enough for his whole life?...same question goes for hermione, ron..the rest
