We are changing duty stations and I need advice!?

My husband and I just got married 3 months ago and he's been given orders to move to Ft Leonard Wood by Sept. I just got moved to this city and I've heard the army will ship our stuff to flw but we aren't able to make it out there to get a place to live because his higher ups refused leave until right before the move. We have to move out of here before we can even go to Missouri and if they send our things I was wondering what they will do with them if we don't yet have a home. My husband attended a briefs months ago before I was here. He's one that doesn't deal with things until right then but I'd like to have an idea as to how all this works before the time comes. Any help would be very appreciated, sorry to sound dimwitted but I just moved here, had a baby and now were mov g again.. My mind is a little fried from the stress lol
