Can I still become a pharmacist or nurse?
You don't have to take any particular classes in high school to be either a pharmacist or an RN. Just taking the basic required classes will be fine. To become a pharmacist you'll have to get a Bachelor degree which will take 4 years and then get a Doctor of Pharmacy degree which will take another 4 years. When you have completed both degrees you have to take the North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam and the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam. Once you pass both exams you'll be an official pharmacist. Starting pay for a pharmacist is $75,000- $80,000. A hospital pharmacist with experience makes $120,000 - $140,000.
